1. Service Description

Timeboard is a world clock and timezone management application for Android devices that provides:

• Visual World Clock: Display multiple time zones with day/night cycle visualization
• Home Screen Widgets: Single clock, list, and compact widget options
• Interactive Map Picker: Precise location selection using interactive maps
• Time Travel Navigation: Explore past and future times across different zones
• Smart Location Detection: Optional automatic timezone detection using device location
• In-App Feedback System: Submit bug reports, feature requests, and general feedback with optional system diagnostics
• Optional Analytics: Opt-in usage analytics to help improve app performance and features
• Offline Functionality: Core features work without internet connection
• Device Backup Integration: Respects your Android backup settings for seamless data preservation across devices
• Material Expressive Design: Modern Android interface with dynamic theming

The app is designed for business travelers, remote workers, families with international connections, and anyone needing to coordinate across time zones.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Timeboard, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the app and should uninstall it immediately.

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Appropriate Use

You agree to use Timeboard only for its intended purposes of world clock management and legitimate feedback submission. You must not:

• Use the app for any unlawful or prohibited purpose
• Submit false, misleading, or abusive feedback or reports
• Attempt to overwhelm or abuse the feedback system with excessive submissions
• Attempt to interfere with or manipulate the analytics system
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the app
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
• Use the app in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the service

3.2 Device Requirements

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring your Android device meets minimum system requirements
• Maintaining up-to-date operating system and security patches
• Providing necessary permissions for app functionality (optional)
• Managing your device's storage space for app data

4. App Permissions and Data

4.1 Required Permissions

Timeboard requests the following permissions:

• Internet Access: For online timezone data fallback, map functionality, and optional analytics
• Network State: To check connectivity for location services and analytics transmission
• Coarse Location (Optional): For automatic timezone detection when using "Current Location" feature

4.2 Data Handling

We are committed to privacy-first design with limited data collection:

• Local Storage: Core app data remains on your device
• Feedback Data: When you submit feedback, system information and your message are transmitted for processing
• Optional Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics require explicit user consent and can be disabled anytime
• No Personal Tracking: We do not collect personally identifiable information
• No Accounts: No registration or account creation required
• Offline-First: Core functionality works without internet
• Voluntary Data Sharing: All data sharing (feedback, analytics) is entirely optional and requires explicit consent

Important: By submitting feedback through the app, you consent to the transmission of your feedback message and system information to our processing systems. 5. Intellectual Property

5.1 App Ownership

Timeboard and all its components, including but not limited to software, design, graphics, text, and trademarks, are owned by KK ME LTD and protected by intellectual property laws.

5.2 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Timeboard for personal, non-commercial purposes.

5.3 Third-Party Components

The app incorporates open-source libraries and components. A complete list of third-party licenses is available within the app under Settings > About > Open Source Licenses.

6. Accuracy and Reliability

6.1 Time Data

While we strive to provide accurate time and timezone information, we cannot guarantee absolute precision. Time data is provided "as is" and:

• May be affected by system clock accuracy
• Depends on Android's timezone database updates
• Could be impacted by daylight saving time changes
• May vary based on device configuration

6.3 Feedback System

Our feedback system is provided to help improve the app, but:

• We cannot guarantee response times or resolution of submitted issues
• Feedback processing depends on third-party services (Google Apps Script, GitHub, JIRA)
• System information collected may not fully capture all relevant diagnostic details
• We reserve the right to prioritize feedback based on technical feasibility and user impact

6.2 Location Services

Location-based features are provided for convenience and may not always be accurate due to:

• GPS signal limitations
• Network-based location approximation
• Device hardware variations
• Environmental factors

7. Availability and Updates

7.1 Service Availability

We aim to provide continuous service availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Maintenance or updates
• Technical issues
• Third-party service dependencies (including feedback processing systems)
• Force majeure events

External Service Dependencies: The feedback submission and analytics features depend on external services and may be temporarily unavailable. Core app functionality will continue to work offline even if these optional features are unavailable.

7.2 App Updates

We may release updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, or add features. Updates may:

• Require acceptance of modified terms
• Change app behavior or interface
• Affect compatibility with older devices
• Introduce new permission requirements or data collection features
• Modify analytics consent requirements or data collection practices

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Disclaimer

Timeboard is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy or reliability of information
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Security or privacy protection

8.2 Limitation of Damages

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Lost profits or business opportunities
• Data loss or corruption
• Personal injury or property damage
• Missed appointments or time-sensitive events

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app (which is zero for free versions).

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may terminate this agreement at any time by:

• Uninstalling the app from your device
• Ceasing all use of the app
• Clearing app data through Android settings

9.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the app if you violate these terms or for other legitimate reasons, including:

• Misuse of the app or its features (including abuse of the feedback or analytics systems)
• Submitting false, malicious, or excessive feedback
• Attempting to interfere with or manipulate analytics data collection
• Violation of applicable laws
• Security concerns
• Discontinuation of the service

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately. Data stored on your device will remain until you manually delete it or uninstall the app. If analytics was enabled, you can disable it to clear analytics data, or uninstall the app to remove all data.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our service, legal requirements, or business practices. When we make changes:

• We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document
• Material changes will be communicated through app updates or notifications
• Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms
• If you disagree with changes, you should stop using the app

We encourage you to review these terms periodically to stay informed of any updates.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app shall be resolved through appropriate legal channels in the UK jurisdiction.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. Invalid provisions will be replaced with valid provisions that most closely approximate the original intent.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of Timeboard and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
